Entrance to the 35th Anniversary Gala Dinner

In honor of our 35 years here at the winery, we re-created our original look using materials salvaged from the old barn and tasting room. This entrance was literally a walk down memory lane, with the corrugated tin and lumber from the barn, large historical photographs and a collage of the many winery signs we have used over the years.

Wine club members entering the event.
Members stroll down "memory lane". Many club members remember sipping wine in the old stone cellar or picnicing under the giant wisteria vine and barn. Photographs show the gold rush era founders of the ranch and remind us of how things have both changed and stayed the same. There is still much history to be enjoyed and plenty of good wine, as always!
Candle-lit Barrel Room

Romantic candle light made this event intimate and romantic. The memory-lane theme continues in the dining area with corrugated tin, grape vines and a Boeger Winery feature: Mission Fig Trees.

Table Settings

Plenty of wine glasses for the evening's tasting. Beautiful tables await the gourmet dinner prepared by Allez! restaurant.
Guests enjoyed a short talk by Greg Boeger, touching on some fond memories and highlights from the last 35 years.
Assemblyman Bill Maze presents Greg Boeger with an Assembly Resolution recognizing the contribution that Boeger Winery has made to the El Dorado County Wine Industry.
Former El Dorado County Agricultural Commissioner Ed Delfino exchanges kind words and memories with Greg Boeger. Ed Delfino was instrumental in helping to establish Boeger as the first post-prohibition commercial winery in El Dorado County in 1972.
