| This wine has a great aromatic profile, rife with ripe fruit, bacon, sweet-smelling oak, caramel and vanilla. Perhaps there’s even a touch of coffee aroma in there, French Roast not Columbian. On the palate it has a relatively high level of acidity, which suits my palate just fine and lends well to age-ability. The Refosco also exhibits a decently sturdy tannin structure which, in combination with the acid backbone, will allow this wine to pair well with many foods. More Details |
