"The BarBEARa" is a bold and burly Barbera grown in the wild and rugged Sierra Foothills. Goes great with meat, salmon and berries. Don’t let hibernate more than a season or two.

This Barbera-based blend hangs its hat on the ripe, fruitiness of Foothills Barbera, but isn’t afraid to make use of some other varieties to fill out its features. The dark fruit and fuller tannins of Cabernet and Petite Sirah counter play the natural acidity and fruit-forward character of the Barbera and Zinfandel. Easy drinking and food-friendly!

2016 Barbera - Medium bodied with a nice finish. A variety of clones grown on vineyards between 2,000 and 3,000 feet are used to make up our Barbera, creating a perfect representation of El Dorado county Barbera. Mouth-wateringly aromatic, this wine jumps out of the glass with luscious red fruit aromas. Soft and full on the palate, this wine is a pleasure to drink on its own, but its inherent acidity also makes it a perfect accompaniment to most dishes.

Our wine makers, Justin and Byron, are thrilled to finally release the much anticipated 2015 Walker Zinfandel in the tasting room this weekend. With ample tannins in this vintage the guys felt it needed some extra time in the barrel to soften the edges. Their patience is your benefit as you'll see when you sample this wine- our cult favorite Zin!
