Tasting Notes
Invitingly aromatic, this Chardonnay fills the glass with creamy, warm aromas. The majority of the fruit for this wine came from our vineyards at 3000 feet, helping the wine retain enough acidity to bring freshness to the finish. A small amout of Viognier was co-fermented with the Chardonnay juice to provide additional aromatic complexity.A full malolactic fermentation was performed to promote softness on the palate, while monthly lees stirring throughout the aging process contributes roundness and body.
Production Notes
100% estate fruit hand harvested mid-September, 2015. Fermented in stainless steel, full malolactic fermentation. Lees stirred, and aged 8 months with 30% new French oak. Bottled May 18, 2016.

what a lovely surprise. we're in marin county where most of our local vintages come from napa or sonoma. at a wedding, a placerville friend brought a case of your lovely el dorado chardonnay 2013. it's just lovely! has several special characteristics i can't quite describe. and certainly would use the descriptors your review name. but i realy get it how hard that can be. anyway, kudos on a very distinctive wine. j-a of pearlarrow designs
