| Classics 2002 Merlot $15.00 The 2002 Merlot is probably one of the best vintages of Merlot Boeger has produced so far! It is rich and full bodied with just the right hint of spice. This vintage will cellar well but is great for drinking now. 2002 Walker Zinfandel $15.00 This vintage Zinfandel is a knock-out! Use it to compliment hearty dishes, or if you're a real die-hard Zinfandel fan then enjoy it all by itself. With good tannin and acid structure, this wine will lay down easily for a few years. 2003 White Riesling $7.50 Peach, apricot, honey and butterscotch constitute the primary aromatic profile of the 2003 White Riesling. A delicate but pronounced fore-palate is dominated by sweet honey and baked peach flavors. As the flavors subside, a soft finish lingers long on the palate. This White Riesling is a great stand-alone wine when served chilled on a warm summer evening. Enjoy it after a hard day's work or as an aperitif to a fabulous dinner. 2003 Sauvignon Blanc $10.00 The first aromas to leap out of a glass of 2003 Sauvignon Blanc are cantaloupe and honeysuckle, followed after a few minutes by subtler aromatics like butter and apricot. On the palate, grapefruit, orange, and perhaps a hint of lemon make their debut along with a crisp fore-palate and a long, lingering finish. Enjoy this wine all by itself or with hors d'oeuvres on any warm summer evening and with many lighter meals, especially sushi or other fish. 2002 Barbera $15.00 Love at first taste! One's senses are delightfully greeted by intense plum jam, cedar box, red pepper, vanilla and caramel aromas that eventually yield to more subtle nuances of sweet spice, toasted oak, ripe cherries. Spicy pepper, caramel and ripe fruit characters pair up to dance on the fore and mid-palates, giving way to softer, jammy components in the finish. 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon $18.50 This El Dorado grown Bordeaux is fruit dominated, ruby red and velvety. It has evenly balanced acids, mouth filling hints of fresh bright berries, and a distinct herbaceous quality. 2000 Cabernet Franc $10.00 The 2000 estate bottled Cabernet franc is a medium-full-bodied, spicy wine that balances moderate tannins with soft acidity. 2001 Estate Zinfandel $15.00 Black pepper, raspberry jam, and ripe black cherries leap out of the glass of 2001 Estate Zinfandel, followed by more subtle hints of toasted oak and caramel. A spicy fore-palate leads into a round, ripe fruit-dominated mid-palate and then tapers off slowly to a toasty finish. This vintage Estate Vineyard Zinfandel will hold up to a bit of bottle aging. As always, we strive to make our wines drinkable from the get-go, but this wine will age up to seven years. |

| Reserve's 2000 Reserve Meritage $25.00 Meritage has aromas of black currents and earthy herbaceous notes. It is rich and inky with abundant tannins and dark berry characteristics. The finish is spicy and long lasting. 2001 Reserve Pinot Noir 20.00 The 2001 Reserve Pinot Noir has Heady aromas of ripe cherries, vanilla and nutmeg spice are perfectly balanced in this quintessential Burgundian varietal. 2000 Reserve Tempranillo $25.00 Our Tempranillo is made in a typical Rioja style, with a minimum of two years aging in neutral oak barrels. As in Spain, we blend our Tempranillo with the other Rioja varietals of Graciano, Carinena, Garnacha and (what the Spaniards consider an "experimental" component) Cabernet Sauvignon. Cedar, leather, earth and tobacco notes dominate the aromatic profile of the 2000 Tempranillo while subsequent layers of clove, pepper, and dried fruit begin to surface after a little breathing time. On the palate those same characteristics expressed in the nose make themselves known on the tongue, albeit in a different order. However, the dried fruit aroma character morphs into a lush, ripe fruit character on the mid palate. The integrated acid-tannin structure lasts from beginning to end, gently tapering off in a long, slow finish. Try this wine with a fine Basque meal. This Tempranillo, with good acidity and tannin structure, is made to age. Feel free to drink it now, but if you can resist, lay a few bottles down in the cellar to try after five or ten years. 2002 Reserve Barbera $30.00 This 2002 vintage of Vineyard Select Barbera has dense aromas of cloves and fig, with bright raspberry and a toasty oak background of coffee, caramel and vanilla. This wine is full-bodied and well-rounded with soft acidity and soft tannin structure. |

| Tape Label 2003 Chardonnay $10.00 Our 2003 Chardonnay has abundant pear and crisp apple aromas combined with hints of spice and a touch of honey. The finish is long and layered with baked apple and cinnamon characteristics. 2000 Foothills Zinfandel 10.00 Hints of chocolate covered cherries, blackberry jam and molasses lie superimposed over the cedar-spice baseline of this medium-bodied Zinfandel. Bright raspberry, strawberry and some black pepper compliment the up front tannins and balanced acidity. This wine wants to be consumed - drink now through three years. Hangtown® |
Hangtown® Red Lot #31 $8.00 Lot #31 is our popular table blend-great for sipping or pairing with your favorite grilled foods. Its nose is full of cherries and earthy fruitiness with a lingering clean finish. It's a bargain for only $8/bottle! Hangtown® Gold 6.00 Hangtown® Gold Lot #12 is a proprietal blend of four grape varieties. Sauvignon Blanc serves as the base for this blend, providing structure and backbone. White Riesling, the secondary component, provides the crispness and long finish. Flora, a U.C. Davis developed hybrid of Gewurtztraminer and Semillon contributes a delicate floral aroma (hence its name). Semillon, last but not least, is added for additional complexity and structure. Sweet melon, honeysuckle, pear, peach and floral aromas dominate the nose of the Lot #12 Hangtown® Gold. A crisp fore-palate tapers slowly into a long, lasting finish while citrus and ripe peach and apricot flavors dance upon the tongue. |
