Palate – Rich and mouth-filling. Juicy, dark fruit notes predominate, while the underlying acidity supports fine, rounded tannins on the lingering finish.

DESCRIPTION
This Zinfandel is the product of a relationship with the Walker Vineyard that dates back to 1980. Overlooking the north fork of the Cosumnes River at 2100 feet elevation, this vineyard has consistently produced excellent fruit with a distinctive peppery spice to it. The opulent, jammy aromas on the nose are tempered by subtle notes of tobacco leaf and dried fruit. Polished tannins and lingering acidity give freshness and structure to the full bodied, smooth palate.
