DESCRIPTION
This Pinot Gris from vineyards at 2,800 feet elevation was whole-cluster pressed to minimize bitterness and astringency from the not-quite-white, not-quite-red clusters. Fermentation was conducted in stainless steel at low temperatures to preserve character and aromatics. The end result is a soft, pleasing wine with a nice balance of richness, freshness and minerality on the palate.
